The magnitude 3.5 temblor struck at 9:17 pm and was centered a mile southwest of the View Park-Windsor Hills neighborhood, just north of the city of Inglewood, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The epicenter was not far from a magnitude 2.5 earthquake that was reported at 4:35 pm, USGS seismologist Lucy Jones said.
