CYSCA to host panel discussion on robotics educationApril 16, 2015 - 10:29 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On April 21, the Cambridge-Yerevan Sister City Association (CYSCA) and Lesley University host a panel discussion on robotics education as part of the annual Cambridge Science Festival, the Armenian Weekly reports. The moderator will be Sue Cusack, an assistant professor at Lesley University’s Graduate School of Education and co-leader of the Kennedy-Longfellow/Lesley University Partnership. The panel includes Dr. Vahagn Poghosyan, a co-founder of Instigate Robotics CJSC and one of Armenia’s leading scientists involved in robotics education, who is traveling to Cambridge specifically for this event; Ethan Danahy, a research assistant at Tufts and a computer science professor and Engineering Research Program director at the Tufts Center for Engineering Education and Outreach (CEEO), where he manages educational technology development projects while researching innovative and interactive techniques for teachers; and Dan Monahan, a science instructional coach in half of the elementary and middle schools in Cambridge, knowledgeable on robotics in public schools.
