Millions of people across the globe celebrate Earth Day on April 22. It was created in 1970, when around 20 million Americans took part in rallies across the country, and is believed to mark the beginning of the worldwide environmental movement, the Mirror says. Google is celebrating the annual event by creating an animated Doodle featuring a rotating Earth and creatures including an elephant and a komodo dragon. In a doodle first, clicking on this year’s Earth Day logo (or searching for “Earth Day quiz”) takes the visitors to a quiz where they can discover which animal most closely represents their own personality. The team behind the Doodle said: “Happy Earth Day to you today and everyday. We learned a lot about nature’s precious pals and interesting inhabitants in the process of making and taking this quiz and we hope you do, too!” Top stories Yerevan will host the 2024 edition of the World Congress On Information Technology (WCIT).
