Charlize Theron's Furiosa is behind the wheel of a giant truck full of 3,000 gallons of gasoline. She is taking the gang leader's slave brides (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Riley Keough, and Zoe Kravitz) with her as she is trying to cross the desert. They enlist the help of Tom Hardy's Max to escape the madness. The movie is the fourth in the "Mad Max" franchise and the first since the last film arrived 30 years ago. It is set in the furthest reaches of our planet, in a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, and most everyone is crazed fighting for the necessities of life.
