Apple drops iPad mini from saleJune 20, 2015 - 11:29 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Apple has axed the original iPad mini by removing it from its website and the Apple Store, Digital Spy reports. First introduced back in 2012, the device was being sold alongside its two successors at a reduced price of $249 for the 16GB model. It was the last iOS device Apple was selling without a Retina display, with its panel at just 1024 x 768 or 163 ppi. The device was also the last iPad running on a 32-bit framework. However, refurbished iPad minis are still available to buy, while resellers will still have some stock available for the time being. The move follows Apple removing the iPod from its website menu, with users now having to click on the Music part of the site to find more details. Last year, Apple put the final nail in the coffin of the iPod Classic by deciding to quietly retire the device.
