Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson to star in "Mother's Day"July 1, 2015 - 10:54 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Julia Roberts is set to star in family comedy movie "Mother's Day (2016)" while Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson and Jason Sudeikis are still in negotiations for the film which will be directed by Garry Marshall, according to Deadline. Anya Kochoff-Romano ("Monster-In-Law") and Lily Hollander wrote the script which highlights several interlocking stories about mothers as their special holiday grows near, AceShowbiz reports. The upcoming movie is Marshall's holiday movie which is expected to be in the same vein as "New Year's Eve" and "Valentine's Day", both of which were made by New Line Cinema. "Mother's Day" will be produced by Wayne Rice, Gulfstream Pictures' Mike Karz, and Kevin Frakes of PalmStar Media, which is financing the film, with Palmstar's Ankur Rungta tapped as executive producer. The film will begin production in August and it will mark several reunions. Roberts will reunite with Marshall who directed her in drama hit "Pretty Woman", a film which made her become a high-in-demand star, "Runaway Bride" and "Valentine's Day". The film also reunites Aniston and Sudeikis who both previously starred in "We're the Millers". CAA, which represents Roberts, Aniston, Hudson, and Sudeikis, will represent the film's domestic distribution rights. The release date of film has not been announced yet, but it is reportedly due to arrive in 2016.
