After top Secret Service agent Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) saved President Ben Asher (Aaron Eckhart) from North Korean militants in 2013, the two now travel to London to attend the funeral of the British Prime Minister. But a terrorist group plans to assassinate all the world leaders attending the funeral, forcing Banning and the President to once again fight for their lives.
