Armenian and Azeri FMs to Meet in Moscow October 6

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian and Azeri FM Elmar Mammadyarov will meet in Moscow October 6, OSCE Minsk Group Russian Co-chair Yuri Merzlyakov said at a press conference in Yerevan. In his words, the current regional visit aims at restoration of direct contacts between the conflicting sides. "The talks held in Yerevan and Baku resulted in an agreement on FMs' meeting in Moscow. The visit to Yerevan will be followed by a call to Stepanakert where we will meet with NKR President Arkady Ghukasian and Foreign Minister Georgy Petrosian," Merzlyakov said. For his part French Co-chair Berdard Fassier remarked that the possibility of a presidential meeting may be discussed on completion of the Ministers' talks.
