RA MFA calls on Armenian tourists not to leave resort areas in Egypt![]() July 7, 2015 - 11:22 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Foreign Ministry calls on all the Armenian citizens who are now spending or planning to spend their vacations in Egypt to remain in specially designated recreation areas. Earlier, Egyptian warplanes killed 25 Islamist militants in North Sinai, as the country’s president visited the province after a major escalation of the conflict there. Many avoid visiting Egypt not to become victims of the Islamic State, especially when a series of coordinated attacks by a terror group affiliated to the IS killed over 50 Egyptian soldiers in Sinai. Armenian tourists, however, visit Egypt regularly. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
