Google's Nexus 8 tablet pic “leaks online”September 1, 2015 - 10:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Eight is one of the few numbers yet to come with the word 'Nexus' attached to it, but that looks set to change when Google refreshes its tablet line. Rumours of a Nexus 8 began circulating last week, and now we may have gotten our first glimpse at the stock Android slate. Images of what appears to be a prototype model of an 8-inch Nexus tablet have been leaked by a source in China, , Digital Spy reports citing GSMArena. It is unclear from the photos which company will manufacture the device, but its dimensions hint at a 4:3 aspect ratio. Previous reports citing benchmarking tests suggest that the Nexus 8 will be powered by a octa-core 1.3GHz processor made by MediaTek, with Android 6.0 Marshmallow innards and a fingerprint scanner safe bets. Google is expected to announce the tablet next month alongside Nexus smartphones from Huawei and LG.
