PanARMENIAN.Net - “A Bigger Splash” will hit U.S. theaters on May 13 in 2016, Fox Searchlight announced on Tuesday, September 1 in conjunction with Lucky Red and Studiocanal, TheWrap reports.

The independent film stars Ralph Fiennes, Tilda Swinton, Matthias Schoenaerts and Dakota Johnson, and is directed by Luca Guadagnino.

“A Bigger Splash” follows rock legend Marianne Lane, who is recuperating on the volcanic island of Pantelleria with her current partner, Paul. However, her world is turned upside down when her old flame Harry arrives with his daughter, Penelope.

Fox Searchlight has decided against mounting an awards campaign this fall for the film, which premieres this week at the Venice International Film Festival.

The film will also be released in Italy on November 26, with Studiocanal releasing it in the United Kingdom on February 12, 2016.
