Armenian, Russian Presidents set to meet September 7![]() September 4, 2015 - 16:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin will meet Monday, September 7, in Moscow, the Armenian President's website reports. Integration into the Eurasian Economic Union, political, economic, cultural-humanitarian partnership, as well as issues concerning the countries’ bilateral cooperation are included on the agenda. Sargsyan and Putin last met in Sochi on August 9 to discuss bilateral ties and the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement. At the meeting, the Armenian leader hailed the friendly and strategic ties with Russia in the context of Yerevan's decision to join the Customs Union and Eurasian Economic Union. The President further informed his Russian counterpart on the activities accomplished on the way to the integration. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
