PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani armed forces continuously violated the ceasefire at the line of contact with Nagorno Karabakh Republic on August 30-September 5.

According to Nagorno Karabakh Republic Defense Ministry, 1000 ceasefire violations by Azeri armed forces were registered in the reporting period, with around 14,000 shots fired from various caliber weapons, including 60-, 82- and 120mm mortars, RPG-7 and HAN-17 grenade launchers.

Azeri troops have been using infantry support guns and artillery weapons lately, something that the Azerbaijani propaganda attempts unsuccessfully to deny.

Azerbaijani armed forces have also used Turkish TP-107 rocket launchers in the reporting period.

The Armenian armed forces continue controlling the situation at contact line and take retaliatory measures, silencing the attacks.
