iPhone 6S looks “to include always-on 'Hey Siri' feature”September 9, 2015 - 17:03 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Apple is set to finally announce the iPhone 6S later today (September 9), but that hasn't stopped the rumours from trickling in, Digital Spy said. The latest reports from 9to5Mac's insiders suggest that users will be able to call on Siri anytime, anywhere by uttering, "Hey Siri". Current iPhones already have an always-on voice trigger for Siri... sort of. The device must be plugged in for it to work, but this is apparently not the case for the 6S. Improved 'Hey Siri' functionality for the new phone comes as no surprise given that Apple's event invites included the caption, "Hey, Siri, give us a hint". Rival voice assistants Google Now and Cortana both include similar features. The iPhone 6S is also expected to include a Force Touch display, upgraded camera, an A9 processor and a similar design to its predecessor.
