Protesters Threw Eggs at French Consulate in IstanbulOctober 23, 2006 - 16:13 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Some 50 people gathered on Sunday in front of the French Consulate in Istanbul to protest against the adoption of the bill penalizing the Armenian Genocide denial. The action participants, mostly members of the opposition Republican Democratic Party shouting out anti-French slogans threw eggs at the Consulate.
