INTERNATIONAL STRUCTURES INTEND TO ASSIST ARMENIA IN HOLDING COMING PRESIDENTIAL AND PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Before the presidential and parliamentary elections are held in Armenia the UN National Democratic Institute (NDI) intends to familiarize with the situation and assist the country in holding them. Patrick Merlo, who is NDI responsible for electoral programs, stated it at the meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Andranik Margarian. The delegation, which has arrived to familiarize with the pre-electoral situation in Armenia, includes political advisor of Portuguese President Fernando Markes da Costa, former member of the house of representatives of Berlin Alexander Longolius and Middle East specialist of the department of foreign affairs, defense and trade of the US congressional research service Carol Migdalovic.
