Photoshop Premiere Elements 14 lets users edit 4K

Photoshop Elements apes several features from Apple's Photos app for the Mac, with an interface that groups photos and videos together for the first time, Digital Spy reports.

The consumer-focused editing app fine-tunes many of the features from Elements 13, but introduces a handful of new ones as well.

Guided edit mode points out how all of your photos could be improved, offering advice on framing and how to correct skin tones afterwards.

Photoshop Premiere Elements' headline feature is the ability to edit 4K footage, which should prove useful for professionals.

Adobe will launch both applications in the final quarter of 2015 priced at $99 (£64) each, which is no more expensive than last year's editions.
