Kurt Cobain's “Montage of Heck” soundtrack to be released in NovSeptember 29, 2015 - 11:26 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Montage of Heck: The Home Recordings has been slated for a 13 November release, and is set to feature unreleased material from Kurt Cobain's private collection, Gigwise reveals. The highly anticipated soundtrack album will be entitled Montage of Heck: The Home Records will now be released on CD, cassette and digital formats on November 13th, 2015. A 2LP vinyl edition will follow on 4 December, along with a 7-inch single featuring “And I Love Her” and “Sappy (Early Demo)”. The 31-track deluxe soundtrack showcases songs from the documentary, including spoken word, early recordings and full songs. The 13-track standard soundtrack features some of the music discovered on Cobain’s personal cassettes. Brett Morgen uncovered a huge mass of previously unheard Kurt Cobain while preparing his rock-doc, Montage of Heck. This raw Beatles cover was among the tapes that Morgen trawled through prior to the film's release. In recent Nirvana news, Krist Novoselic recently spoke about the events surrounding Cobain's death. He recalls that "he was out of his mind on heroin" the few days prior to his suicide.
