Baku crossed the line, but met adequate retaliation: official

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan’s actions are retaliated adequately, and the country will soon come to its senses, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister said.

“They have crossed the line: I mean not just their actions, but also Azerbaijan's contempt towards the norms of international law and its own obligations,” Shavarsh Kocharyan told reporters. “After all, in 1994 it was Azerbaijan who asked the Nagorno Karabakh authorities for a ceasefire. Today Azerbaijan adheres to a similar position as various terrorist organizations do: it kills people, destroys monuments.”

“Baku is thus creating a basis for the international recognition of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic,” Kocharyan concluded.
