Armenians abducted by IS militants return home![]() October 3, 2015 - 13:23 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Gevorg and George-Sarkis Chaparians from Aleppo were abducted on September 19 by the Islamic State militants on their way to Beirut. They were leaving Syria for Lebanon to later move to Armenia. Having been kept hostage by the militants for several days, Chaparians were released with the help of a number of influential people from Beirut, Damascus and Yerevan.
