Karabakh army reports decreased Azeri ceasefire violations![]() October 21, 2015 - 11:05 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Karabakh defense army reported decreased Azeri ceasefire violations on October 19-20. The rival, however, used large-caliber weapons, including Turkish-made TR-107 rocket launcher (7 rockets), 82-mm mortar (2 shells), HAN-17 and AGS-7 grenade launchers (3 shells each). According to the NKR Defense Ministry, 70 ceasefire violations were registered by Azerbaijani armed forces on the night of October 20-21, with around 1000 shots fired from artillery weapons. Karabakh defense forces continue controlling the situation, retaliating in case of necessity. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. Authorities said a total of 192 Azerbaijani troops were killed and 511 were wounded during Azerbaijan’s offensive. Partner news |
