According to supply chain sources, via Phone Arena, the upcoming iPhone 6S rival and Samsung Galaxy S6 follow-on will play host to the premium ESS Technology SABRE 9018AQ2M chip. What does this mean? Well, the chip features a 32-bit mobile audio DAC with a 128dB signal to noise ratio. In layman's terms, it will sound amazing and offer audio quality near parallel to true analogue recordings.
