Anadolu Agency said the suspects were detained Tuesday, October 27 in the city of Konya and the nearby town of Cumra. The Dogan news agency said the suspects, including a woman, were being questioned by anti-terrorism police. On Monday, police stormed a house used by a suspected IS cell in the southeastern city of Diyarbakir, triggering a clash that left nine dead. Turkey has expanded operations against the group following suicide bombings of a peace rally in Ankara on October 10, which killed 102 people. The government came under criticism for failing to prevent the attack.
