White Kindle joins Amazon e-reader familyOctober 28, 2015 - 20:27 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Amazon has added a new addition to its e-reader family - a white Kindle, Digital Spy reveals. The device might come with a different coloured backing, but the internals and software features are unchanged from the standard model. You'll get the same anti-glare touchscreen and processor that is 20% faster than the previous-gen model, along with services like Whispersync, X-Ray and Smart Lookup. The price is also unchanged, with the white Kindle costing £59.99 from Amazon's UK store. Earlier this month, Waterstones stopped selling Kindles at its high street stores, citing "pitiful" demand for the e-readers among its customers. Amazon responded with a statement insinuating that the sales slump is limited to Waterstones, insisting that it is "pleased" with Kindle's performance at retail level.
