Spanish city of Aldaia officially recognizes Armenian Genocide![]() October 29, 2015 - 12:03 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On October 27 Spanish city of Aldaia, Valencia province, officially recognized the Armenian Genocide joining the list of Spanish cities that have officially recognized and condemned the atrocity, Foreign Ministry reports. Proposed by Valencia’s Ararat Armenian Association, the resolution was presented for discussion at the City Council session by Left Union spokesperson Juanjo Llorente. The four parties representing the City Council unanimously voted for the recognition of the crime perpetrated by Ottoman Turkey as Genocide and the condemnation of the crime. The City Council session was attended by the Armenian community representatives and Spanish social-political figures. The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington. The CSTO budget for the current year requires adjustments due to the refusal of Yerevan to pay their share of contributions. Six total incidents have burned 19 old-growth trees. Friday night 8 trees were torched along the beautiful main entrance.
