VivaCell-MTS, Fuller Center build houses for border village residentsOctober 29, 2015 - 14:42 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - VivaCell-MTS and Fuller Center for Housing Armenia have helped build or renovate 27 houses in Aygepar, Nerkin Karmiraghbyur, Movses and Vazashen villages of Tavush province in 2014-2015. The Grigoryans, a small family of three, live in the border village of Aygepar and are practically homeless. “Having lived with my husband's parents for six years, we decided to rent an apartment. My husband takes up different construction works and I work at school. The sense of having our own house and means to renovate it is invaluable,” said Marine, the mother of the family. During the visit to Tavush province, VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian and Fuller Center for Housing Armenia President Ashot Yeghiazaryan visited the Grigoryans’ house. Speaking to the family, Yirikian said everything should be done for residents of border villages to never desert their homes, adding that the project is one of the most successful ones implemented so far. VivaCell-MTS invested AMD100 million (AMD55 million in 2014) in the project in 2015, with Fuller Center for Housing Armenia implementing it. The number of the families having their houses renovated or reconstructed will reach 93 by the end of the year.
