TUMO Center in Gyumri expanding to accommodate 1500 students

PanARMENIAN.Net - TUMO Center for Creative Technologies in Gyumri that was opened in the framework of the TUMOxAGBU partnership with the support of Shant TV, will soon be expanding to allow a capacity of 1500 students.

1000 students from Gyumri and local communities currently attend the center, with 500 applicants waitlisted.

In just a month, the number of computers will increase by over 50% in the center.

TUMO Center for Creative Technologies is a free of charge after-school program, which gives students access to skills necessary to succeed in the modern world. The first TUMO center opened in Yerevan in 2011, followed by the second in Dilijan in 2013, and another one in Gyumri in early 2015, effectively expanding the TUMO mission to the various provinces of Armenia.
