Armenia to host Business Innovation Forum 2015![]() November 7, 2015 - 12:41 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The 3d Business Innovation Forum (BIF) “Armenia 20.18 – Armenia among 20 most innovative countries by 2018” will take place on November 13-14 at Dilijan Resort Complex. Business Innovation Forum is a platform for sharing of knowledge and discussion of practical solutions among the local and international experts of high-tech and related industries. Karen Vardanyan, Executive Director of the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE), said “the Business Innovation Forum is trying to bring international expertise and innovation policy to Armenia. In addition, we aim to have businesses and government agencies cooperate in the field of innovation.” The two-day Innovation Forum will feature representatives of local and international companies, including Elena Donets, Israel's leading entrepreneur and the executive director of the Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of StarTAU Israel. The Forum will particularly focus on the Innovation Ecosystems, Innovation and Education, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has met with Stephan Schütz, Executive Partner at Gerkan, Marg and Partners. The number of state universities will be reduced from 23 to 8 by 2030, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan has said. Partner news |
