Trivoly to turn any timepiece into smartwatch

PanARMENIAN.Net - Apple Watch envy will become a thing of the past with Trivoly, a disc-shaped accessory that adds smarts to your vanilla timepiece, Digital Spy reports.

The Kickstarter-funded gadget clips on to the underside of your watch to deliver vibration alerts and light-up notifications for messages and reminders.

Trivoly also offers camera and music playback controls and includes a built-in heart-rate monitor that syncs with its own fitness apps.

Several other manufacturers have come up with accessories that make dumb watches smart, from the Montblanc e-strap to the Unique from Swiss company uBirds.

Trivoly is seeking $100,000 on Kickstarter to get the project off the ground and has promised to ship the accessory to backers in February next year.
