Ice Cube, Kevin Hart take road trip in "Ride Along 2" comedy trailer (video) November 11, 2015 - 18:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Universal pictures has released a new trailer for the upcoming comedy "Ride Along 2". The movie centers on partners and soon-to-be brothers-in-law James Payton (Ice Cube) and Ben Barber (Kevin Hart) embarking on a mission outside their hometown, AceShowbiz reports. Ben, who wants to marry James' sister, has to prove that he is a man worthy of marrying. James then asks Ben to go with him from Atlanta to Miami to hunt down a drug dealer responsible for spreading dangerous product in their hometown. The second film looks much the same with its movie predecessor, "Ride Along", in which James also took Ben on a ride along to prove that he's worthy of James' sister. Basically, the sequel retains the original formula and adds some slightly-different jokes. Joining Hart and Cube for the next chapter of the comedy series are director Tim Story and producers Will Packer, Matt Alvarez and Larry Brezner, who will produce alongside Cube. The movie also stars Ken Jeong, Olivia Munn, Tika Sumpter, Benjamin Bratt and Sherri Shepherd. The action comedy movie is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on January 15, 2016.
