Armenian President visits Karabakh Defense Army units![]() November 21, 2015 - 11:28 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - President, Commander-in-Chief of Armenia’s Armed Forces Serzh Sargsyan who has paid a working visit to the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, toured a number of Defense Army units, accompanied by Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan, Defense Ministers of both countries and top command staff. The Presidents and high-ranking militaries started the tour with an observation of combat firing drills at Mekhakavan range. Following the exercises, the Presidents awarded the servicemen noted for active participation, presidential press service reports. President Sargsyan attended the opening of military facilities of strategic importance, also familiarizing himself with living conditions of servicemen. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington. The CSTO budget for the current year requires adjustments due to the refusal of Yerevan to pay their share of contributions. Six total incidents have burned 19 old-growth trees.
