VivaCell-MTS promoting National Philharmonic Orchestra projectsNovember 27, 2015 - 12:18 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra (ANPO) and VivaCell-MTS have been cooperating for six years. Thanks to this cooperation, the Orchestra has implemented a number of projects in Armenia, Artsakh, and abroad. In the last two years, the orchestra has performed in Italy, Austria, Germany, Scandinavian countries, the U.S., Mexico and Lebanon. In spring, the National Philharmonic Orchestra toured to the towns of Tampere, Finland, Copenhagen and Olborg in Denmark, and Norwegian capital Oslo. The concert tours in Washington, Los Angeles and Mexico dedicated to the centennial of the Armenian Genocide were well received both by the audience and music critics. The Orchestra also had an opportunity to perform at the famous Beiteddine Arts Festival in Lebanon. On November 29, December 2 and 3, the National Philharmonic will give concerts in Warsaw, capital of Poland, and the city of Ludwigshafen, Germany. The concert program will feature Spanish Capriccio by Rimsky-Korsakov, Concerto for violin by Aram Khachaturian, Concerto for Piano N1 by Chopin and Symphonies N1 and N6 by Tchaikovsky. Violinist Anush Nikoghosyan and pianist Sophia Puccini (Germany) will perform at the events. The same program was also presented in Yerevan on November 26, with pianist Karen Hakobyan (U.S.) performing the Concerto for piano N1 by Chopin. The concert tours dedicated to the centennial of the Armenian Genocide were organized with the support of the government of Armenia, Ministry of Culture and the Armenian Genocide centennial committee. VivaCell-MTS is the orchestra's general partner, having supported cultural initiatives for already 6 years. The Company has allocated AMD 1 645 000 000 to the programs implemented by the ANPO, also notifying people of the orchestra's upcoming concerts.
