Russia’s Inter RAO sold only 25% of its Armenian assets to Tashir Group

PanARMENIAN.Net - Inter RAO has sold only 25% of the shares of the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) and Hrazdan thermal power plant for $ 8.25 million, an Inter RAO UES report suggests.

In October 2015, the Russian group sold the 25% of shares of investments in Armenia-based subsidiaries - ENA and Hrazdan TPP - to Tashir Group company owned by Russian-Armenian businessman Samvel Karapetyan.

According to the report, the Russian group had earlier applied to the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) of Armenia, requesting a right to sell the company’s 100% shares to receive a corresponding permission on October 1.
