Discussion of 'Frozen Conflicts' Postponed for Next Year

PanARMENIAN.Net - The issue of 'frozen conflicts' in the GUAM space will not be discussed at the session of the UN General Assembly today. The GUAM Ambassadors said the debates were postponed for the next year, said Armenia's permanent representative in the UN Armen Martirosyan. The item on 'frozen conflicts' was introduced into the agenda of the UN General Assembly's 61st session in September. Armen Martirosyan considers that the postponement of the debates is not accidental, since the document is rather disputable. "The authors of the resolution offered to apply one single solution to all of 4 conflicts and this aroused anxiety," he told RFE/RL adding that UN's attitude about the GUAM document is very cautious.
