LG “not done with curved-screen smartphones”December 19, 2015 - 10:29 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Recent reports suggest we shouldn't hold our breath for another G Flex from LG, but the Korean firm might not be through with curved phones just yet, Digital Spy said. Twitter tipster Evan Blass claims that the company is working on a radically different breed of curved-screen handset. "LG's also got a handset with [a] curved display in the works - but this one wraps over the top of the device," he wrote. Blass's remarks suggest that LG is developing a phone with a malleable display that folds back over on itself. The company has previously showcased prototype projector screens and TV panels with similar properties. LG launched two generations of its curved G Flex smartphone, but the latest reports appear to indicate that this was a proof-of-concept device that will pave the way for something different.
