Sundance Film Fest adds panel discussion with Richard Linklater

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Sundance Film Festival has added a panel discussion with Richard Linklater and Jason Reitman along with the world premiere of Douglas McGrath’s documentary “Becoming Mike Nichols” to its program, Variety reports.

The festival also announced it will screen three films from the Sundance Collection at UCLA: John Sayles’ “City of Hope,” Kelly Reichardt’s “River of Grass” and Nicole Holofcener’s “Walking and Talking.”

“Becoming Mike Nichols” will have its broadcast premiere on Feb. 22 on HBO.

The festival runs from Jan. 21-31 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah, and includes 103 world premieres. It will present 123 feature-length films, representing 37 countries and 49 first-time filmmakers, including 30 in competition.

These films were selected from 12,793 submissions, including 4,081 feature-length films and 8,712 short films. Of the feature film submissions, 1,972 were from the U.S. and 2,109 were international.
