Captured Azeri Soldier Handed to AzerbaijanDecember 23, 2006 - 14:02 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Captured Azeri soldier Vusal Garachaev Mohammed oghli, born in 1988 in Belokan region of Azerbaijan, was handed by the NKR authorities to Azerbaijan at 12:55 December 23, says the statement of the NKR State Commission on POW and Missed. The handling over took place near village of Bash-Qarvend of Aghdam region by the mediation of International Red Cross Committee representatives. Vusal Garachaev was captured by NKR Defense Army soldiers with his rifle in Aghdam direction of the frontline December 7. In accordance with its international commitments the NKR authorities immediately informed about the incident the OSCE and International Red Cross Committee offices accredited in Stepanakert. The IRCC representatives were given free access to Garachaev, who was keeping in touch with his relatives in Azerbaijan with the help of International Red Gross Committee workers, the NKR FM Press Office reports.
