Samsung's new gold Gear S2 comes with hefty price tagJanuary 26, 2016 - 12:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Just when you thought wearables were starting to become a bit more wallet-friendly, Samsung's gold Gear S2 drops with a near $570 price tag, Digital Spy reports. Officially unveiled back at CES 2016 earlier this month, the rose gold and platinum plated renditions of the stunning Samsung Gear S2 Classic have now popped up on a Dutch retailer - and they ain't cheap. Although official pricing is yet to be confirmed, European seller Cool Blue has placed the wearables on pre-order for €480. Despite being wallet-cripplingly expensive, this lofty price tag is still far below the $26k being charged for the Apple Watch Edition. Fancy color and materials aside, the gold and platinum Gear S2 features no added features over its standardly schemed siblings. Tizen still runs the show, with the innovative rotating bezel letting users easily sweep between the multiple menus and app offerings.
