Rihanna joins Miguel for a cover of The Temptations' “My Girl” (video) February 1, 2016 - 11:29 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Fresh off releasing her "Anti" album which has already been certified Platinum, Rihanna joined Miguel at his party in Los Angeles over the weekend. The Bajan beauty played some songs including a cover of "My Girl" during the event, which was called "Wildheart Motel" after his own studio effort "Wildheart" and featured special guest and live performances in different rooms, AceShowbiz reports. The performance of The Temptations' classic was captured in a video below, which started with Miguel singing the first few lines before handing his mic over to RiRi. Because she's Rihanna and she's free to do whatever she wanted, she dropped some expletives in between the sweet lyrics from the original. At the event, she also did a cover of Mary J. Blige's 1996 single "Not Gon' Cry" from the "Waiting to Exhale" soundtrack. Miguel's "Wildheard Motel" party came just a day after Rihanna dropped her long-awaited eighth album through Tidal. The project immediately went Platinum thanks in large part to Samsung who gave it away for free to fans as part of their $25 million deal with the singer.
