Azeri army uses machine guns, sniper rifles in ceasefire violations Feb 3-4

PanARMENIAN.Net - The situation on the contact line between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan has been relatively calm on February 3 and the following night, the Nagorno Karabakh Defense Army says.

According to the report, Azeri troops opened fire on the Armenian positions using machine guns and sniper rifles.

Karabakh troops continue controlling the situation on the contact line, retaliating in case of extreme necessity.

Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire on the night of February 1-2, firing around 900 shots from various caliber weapons, including AK rifles, DShK machine guns, Istiglal and Dragunov sniper rifles, 60- and 82-mm mortars, as well as AGS-17 grenade launchers.
