The London singer released her third album '25' on November 20 and refused to share it on streaming sites such as Spotify and Apple Music. Despite this, the Guardian reports the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) has announced that she was the bestselling artist last year, based on worldwide record sales. In a statement, the IFPI chief executive Frances Moore called '25' "the runaway global sensation of 2015". Moore added that outselling the rest of the year's records in just six weeks was "simply phenomenal". The award is based on both physical and digital sales, plus number of streams. The IFPI does not reveal the figures behind their data. Related links: Top stories The creative crew of the Public TV had chosen 13-year-old Malena as a participant of this year's contest.
