Ethan Hawke’s “24 Hours to Live” sells in key markets

PanARMENIAN.Net - 24 Hours to Live, an action-thriller that will star Ethan Hawke, has sold in several key international markets at the European Film Market in Berlin, The Hollywood Reporter reveals.

Brian Smrz will direct the film, which features Hawke as a hitman who has been brought back to life for a single day. He has 24 hours to team up with the female super-spy who killed him and exact revenge against the powerful crime syndicate responsible for the murder of his wife and child.

The project is slated to shoot in June in South Africa. Fundamental Films is financing the project, which will be written by Zach Dean based on an original script from Ron Mita & Jim McClain.

Basil Iwanyk and Kent Kubena of Thunder Road are producing with Fundamental's Mark Gao and Gregory Ouanhon.

Sierra/Affinity has sold 24 Hours to Live in the following markets: France (SND); Italy (Eagle Films); Germany (Square One); Spain (Key2Media); Latin America (Gussi Films); Canada (VVS Films); Benelux (The Searchers); Middle East, India Turkey, Greece (Italia Film); South Korea (Woo Sung); China (Fundamental Films); Japan (Klockworx); Indonesia (Cinemaxx); South Africa (Ster Kinekor); and Vietnam (Noori Pictures), as well as for the airlines (Cinesky).
