OSCE Mission monitors Nagorno Karabakh-Azerbaijan contact line

PanARMENIAN.Net - The OSCE Mission conducted Thursday, February 18 a planned monitoring of the line of contact between the Nagorno Karabakh Republic and Azerbaijan in the northern direction of Martakert.

From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring was conducted by Field Assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Yevgeny Sharov (Ukraine) and Khristo Khristov (Bulgaria), as well as by staff member of the Office Peter Svedberg (Sweden).

From the opposite side of the line of contact, the monitoring was conducted by Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk and his Field Assistant Jiri Aberle (Czech Republic).

The monitoring passed in accordance with the agreed schedule, with no ceasefire violations registered.

From the Karabakh side, representatives of the NKR Foreign and Defense Ministries accompanied the monitoring mission.
