Turkey tourism suffers major losses as Russian travelers dodge Antalya

PanARMENIAN.Net - Following Ankara’s downing of a Russian jet on the Syrian border, Turkey has been suffering significant losses in the tourism sector, Ermenihaber.am reports.

Russia’s sanctions are having disturbing consequences for Turkey, its economy, and especially the country’s most famous tourist destination, Antalya.

According to CNN Turk, only 55 Russian tourists have travelled to the beach city in February 2016 against the 8307 Russians that visited Antalya in the same period last year.
