The musical is written by Academy Award winner Tom Schulman, adapted from his own Oscar-winning original screenplay, and will be directed by Doyle. Set at a rigorous all-boys preparatory school renowned for its ancient traditions, where the unconventional Professor Keating inspires his students to defy conformity, and to live passionately. The original film starred Robin Williams and Robin Sean Leonard, and the cast also included Ethan Hawke and Josh Charles.
