Facebook Messenger adds Spotify support

PanARMENIAN.Net - Facebook Messenger has added support for Spotify, allowing you to share your favorite songs and playlists with friends. It’s the first music-based service integration for the messaging platform which rolled out Thursday, March 3 and Facebook said will be “available broadly soon,” VentureBeat reports.

When you’re in Facebook Messenger, tap on the “…” button in a chat window to select Spotify. From there, choose a song, artist, or playlist that you want to send to your friend. If you receive a Spotify share, just tap on it and the music app will open to play the file.

Spotify has made quite a few integrations over the past year or so, such as with Google’s Chromecast, Starbucks, and Amazon.
