Azerbaijan launches subversive attack, violates ceasefire with Artsakh

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani troops initiated a subversive attack on Tuesday, March 8, at around 11:20 pm, the Nagorno Karabakh Defense Army says.

Having timely identified the rival groups, Karabakh Defense Army units took retaliatory measures, throwing the saboteurs back to their positions.

No casualties were registered on the Armenian side, with the rival, according to a Karabakh report, having suffered losses.

Also, Azerbaijani armed forces fired around 12000 shots from various caliber firearms on March 7-8.

Karabakh’s troops took measures to suppress the Azeris’ attacks, continuing to control the situation along the contact line.

Besides, Azerbaijani media outlets claimed on Tuesday that Armenian servicemen opened fire at shepherds near the contact line.

The Nagorno Karabakh Defense Army press office refuted the claims, reminding that unlike the Azerbaijani side, Armenian forces never open fire on civilians.
