Huawei confirms April 6 event, hints at P9 with dual cameraMarch 10, 2016 - 10:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Leaked images of Huawei's next flagship smartphone, the P9, have suggested that the device will have a rear-facing dual camera system. Now, invites from the company to an event in London on April 6 have hinted at the same setup, using the hashtag "#OO" and the slogan "change the way you see the world," the Verge reports. The P9 was a no-show at Mobile World Congress earlier this year and Huawei has yet to confirm the device's existence. But the company took a similar approach last year, skipping MWC to launch the P8 at a London event in mid-April. According to a report from serial leaker Evan Blass, the P9 will come with a 5.2-inch, full HD display, a Kirin 950 processor, and 3GB of RAM. A premium version of the device will bump these specs up to a Kirin 955 system-on-chip and 4GB of RAM, with both devices using a pair of 12-megapixel sensors and Leica lenses in their dual-camera arrays. Blass also suggests that along with the regular and premium P9s, there may also be low-end and bigger-screened versions. These could be dubbed the "P9 Lite" and "P9 Max" — the same branding the company used for last year's P8 variants, the Verge says.
