The Orchard nabs Sundance-winning doc “All These Sleepless Nights”![]() March 11, 2016 - 12:48 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Orchard has acquired the documentary All These Sleepless Nights for North America, The Hollywood Reporter reveals. The doc was directed by Michal Marczak and follows classmates Kris and Michal as they resolve to experience life to the limit during their Warsaw summers. All These Sleepless Nights won the 2016 Sundance Film Festival Directing Award in World Cinema Documentary competition. Marczak, Marta Golba, Thomas Benski, Julia Nottingham and Lucas Ochoa produced the film. “Michal Marczak is an auteur whose work we have been watching for some time,” said Danielle DiGiacomo, vp acquisitions at The Orchard. "All These Sleepless Nights, an enthralling and unique film that captures the uncertainty and frenzy of youth while also provocatively playing with notions of traditional nonfiction film, is a film that marks exciting growth in his career and is perfect fit for The Orchard to bring to a wider audience.” The Orchard previously acquired the Sundance doc Life, Animated.
