RA leader won't stand for any party in parliamentary election

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian President will keep on performing his duties during the election campaign. He demanded the same from the governments and heads of departments, RA leader's Spokesman Victor Soghomonian said at a briefing in Yerevan. In his words, according to the acting Constitution, the President's plenary powers undergo no changes during elections. "In the near future the leader of the state will sign a decree on the date of the parliamentary election," Soghomonian said adding that Robert Kocharian doesn't intend to stand for any party in the election.
